Kick the Tanks at Tiananmen Square

“Kick the Tanks at Tiananmen Square” is a very simple action game in which when the tanks come near you, you press space bar or use left-click to kick them into the sky! If you’re on mobile web browser, you just need to tap on the screen to kick.

Each level has a quota of tanks for you to kick. Beat all 10 levels to see a similarly hilarious alternative opening cut-scene! You’ll be given 3 lives per level so you do not die just after 1 miss.

This game is inspired by the bravery of Tank Man against the CCP at the Tiananmen incident that occurred on 4 June 1989. As we all know, he stood right in front of the tanks, not being fazed by them at all.

Like “Deflect the CCP Virus”, I made this game out of catharsis against the CCP.  Sure Tank Man didn’t actually kick any of the tanks during the incident but nevertheless the tanks are a representation of the CCP’s brutal dictatorship. Hence the idea of kicking them SKY HIGH.

Known issues (they're minor):

-Unfortunately you may encounter issues with saving of game data if you’re playing on mobile web browser. This game is hardly long though.

-The game is meant to be played on full screen for desktop/laptop web browser. If you don’t run it on full screen, the life icons may end up having the wrong size.
